How the Application Accelerator works
VisioHire is a job-market intelligence service. The Application Accelerator is one feature inside it, used one role at a time, on request. This page sets out exactly what it does with your CV, what it produces, and the one thing it will never do.
What goes in
- The CV you provided when you set up your profile
- The description of one specific job you have chosen
What comes out
- An ATS compatibility reading
- Your own CV, re-ordered for that role
- A cover letter drawn from your CV
- A recruiter's likely questions
What it never does
- Write a CV for you
- Add experience you do not have
- Invent employers, dates or metrics
- Embellish or inflate a claim
It cannot create a CV. It requires one.
You cannot use VisioHire without an existing CV. It is a mandatory field when you create your profile, because the text of your CV is what the matching engine reads to score roles against your background. A service that cannot function until you supply a complete CV is not a CV-writing service — the CV is the input.
We never write your CV. The Application Accelerator works only from the CV you already have. It re-orders and re-emphasises your own experience against one specific job description — it cannot add, invent or embellish a single fact. If it is not in your CV, it does not appear in the output.
The four steps, in order
- You choose a role. Nothing is generated for roles you have not opened. The Accelerator runs only when you press Prepare application on a specific opportunity in your dashboard.
- It reads two documents. Your CV, and that role's job description. Nothing else.
- It selects and re-orders. The experience most relevant to that role moves up; less relevant detail is condensed. The wording is aligned to the language of the posting where your experience genuinely matches it. No new facts are introduced at any point.
- You review and decide. The output is a draft for you to check, edit and use as you see fit. You apply; we never apply on your behalf, and we never send anything to an employer.

Nothing above is produced during your daily digest. Each item is generated once, for one role, at the moment you ask for it.
Accuracy is yours
You are responsible for the accuracy of the CV content you provide, and for reviewing anything the Accelerator produces before you use it. This is set out in our Terms of Service. We do not verify employment history, and we do not make claims about your background — we only re-present what you have told us.
